One of the most popular instruments to learn with groups popping up everywhere is the ukulele. Why? Because it is fun and easy! The ukulele originated in the 19th century as a Hawaiian adaptation of the Portuguese machete, a small guitar-like instrument, which was introduced to Hawaii by Portuguese immigrants, mainly from Madeira and the Azores. Their rental program has been developed through decades of working with the music educators of Arizona. They have tailored it to meet the needs of students and parents alike. Their prices are low and there are no hidden fees or extra charges EVER. Just rent the instrument as long as you need it and return it whenever you're done-no advanced notice needed.  The monthly payment includes the rental of the instrument as well as tax and insurance. Insurance covers EVERYTHING with NO DEDUCTIBLES. If anything happens to your instrument it can be exchanged for a working one here, the Mesa store, or at any of the rental depots across the state.  Not everything available is shown here, so if you don't see something please ask.

Many factors go into making a great sounding instrument and often overlooked is the importance of the strings. Dead strings will kill your instruments sound. Good, fresh strings enhance your tone. And we have found that the least expensive way to experiment with your instruments tone is to try different string gauges and materials.
